Volunteer with Paw Placement of Northern Arizona

Volunteering is a rewarding experience and no commitment is too small. You can help make Flagstaff a more humane place for pets, and move closer to our goal of a No-Kill city, by volunteering with one (or more) of our programs.

To volunteer for any of the following positions, please fill out our Volunteer Application. Then keep an eye out for regular emails from Paw Placement about opportunities to volunteer.
Set up, staff, and tear down the Paw Placement booth at various events around Flagstaff. Talk to the public about our Spay/Neuter, Community Cats, and other programs. .
Help plan fundraising events. Contact businesses for donations for sponsorship, raffles and silent auction items. Set up, staff, and assist with clean up at events.
Community Cats programs
Coordinate with other groups to educate the public about Trap, Neuter, Release of feral cats. Contact businesses and identify warehouses/storage spaces where sterilized, vaccinated "working" cats can be used for rodent control, monitor program.
Financial Assistance for Emergency Vet Care program
Meet pet owners at the vet to complete paperwork for approved medical assistance cases. Must be available during business hours on short notice. Make follow-up calls to check on pet's progress.
Pet Food Bank
Assist Coconino Humane Association in administration of the Pet Food Bank. Help hand out pet food and other donated items to clients as needed.
Marketing / Advertising
Distribute posters and fliers for events.
Input daily social media updates (Facebook and Twitter).
Provide other assistance with marketing and advertising.
