Community Cats Program
The Community Cats Program provides alternatives to euthanasia through the Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) and working cats initiatives. In this program, PPNAZ collaborates with Main Street Strays and ADLA in their TNR efforts.
Athletes for Animals awarded Paw Placement a $2,000 grant to support a pilot Trap/Neuter/Return program in two targeted communities this year. If you would like to be involved, call 928-699-7586
We also work with the Coconino Humane Association to identify cats eligible for the working cats program where community and business partners want to employ a cat(s) to protect their property from rodents with an environmentally safe alternative to poisonous pest control or traps. If you are interested in "hiring" one or more cats for your business, warehouse, barn, or other property, please review our brochure for detailed information. Then call 928-699-7586 for an application to protect your property and save the life of a homeless cat.
